Material Quality Engineer Co-Op - Spring 2025

The Role:
Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Material Quality Engineer to join our team for the Spring 20 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute raw material change qualifications
- Trend review of incoming raw material data
- Coordinate quality investigations related to raw materials with cross-functional teams as needed
- Build relationships with suppliers to implement corrective actions or continuous improvements benefiting the profitability of the Entegris business
What We Seek:
Bachelors in Engineering or Chemistry
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
- Experience with data
- Openness to learning analysis techniques and/or statistical tools
- Flexible, persistent, and a good attitude
- Good communicator
- Self-sufficient within a team
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
Chemical, Material, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry - graduating in Spring 2025 or later
Eligibility:
- Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January 2025-June 2025
- Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
