Sales Development Representative

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is passionate about sales and marketing and responsible for one of the most important steps in the sales process: building pipeline. In this role, you will develop prospecting plans and drive qualified leads to our Account Executive team. The SDR role is perfect for someone who is ambitious, intelligent, and has high energy. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to apply. You will receive sales training, technical product training, and will have the opportunity to work closely with Account Executives on outbound and inbound campaigns going after key contacts within our ICP.

 

Hybrid Schedule: Work from the Florham Park, office 3x per week

What you can expect from the team…

 

A typical week for a Sales Development Rep…

  • Generate leads with a multi-channel approach.
  • Collaborate with team to create unique personalized outreach to engage prospects.
  • Update and maintain prospect, account, and opportunity information in Salesforce.
  • Book qualified appointments with prospects.
  • Meet with sales manager to provide weekly updates on goals.

 

An SDR is responsible for….

  • Generate leads, qualify prospects, and build relationships by outbound prospecting and nurturing inbound leads to find new potential opportunities for our sales team.  
  • Qualify target accounts by uncovering customer needs, pain points, and buyer readiness in order to generate sales opportunities  
  • Follow up with, convert, and qualify inbound leads to booked meetings (demo requests, content downloads, etc.)  
  • Proactively create and manage top of funnel opportunities in the market that will result in increasing company revenue.
     
  • Develop and execute an Account-Based Marketing plans through detailed research, implementation of organization mapping, and personalized content creation.  
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce and Outreach), LinkedIn, and other lead sources, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities. 
  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.  
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Min 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach) a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation: Base Salary and Commission
