About the Role: We are looking for entrepreneurial future leaders interested in positively impacting the environment by joining a high growth manufacturing business. Dive into the thrilling world of engineering by assisting in the development, modification, and implementation of 2D drawings and 3D models for engineering and manufacturing purposes according to specified CAD Software. Join Komline-Sanderson as our Mechanical Engineer Intern.
Responsibilities:
- Modify and improve on basic product design modifications that will shape the future.
- Craft intricate detail and assembly drawings for state-of-the-art products and equipment.
- Transform 2D drawings and manufactured parts into captivating 3-D models and assemblies.
- Sharpen your engineering skills by performing mechanical design calculations.
- Be a part of our journey towards efficiency and excellence by supporting the implementation of 5S and lean initiatives.
- Embrace exciting challenges as you take on other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Currently attending a four-year college as a Mechanical Engineering major with an emphasis and passion for mechanical design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (AutoDesk Inventor) and Microsoft Office – your tools for innovation.
- Your strong verbal and written communication skills will make you a standout engineer.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to prioritize.
- Collaboration and willingness to provide support and assistance to your colleagues, making teamwork the heart of your success.
