Remote ServiceNow Developer
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience working with ITIL foundations, IT service management, IT operations management, strategic project management, CMDB, ITAM, and GRC applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on Customer Service Management (CSM) and ITIL process integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow Development & Administration: Design and implement custom applications, modules, and workflows using ServiceNow Flow Designer. Develop, test, and maintain scripts, forms, and business rules to automate and optimize business processes.
- ITIL Process Implementation: Develop and implement ITIL processes, policies, and best practices to enhance IT service management. Ensure alignment with ITIL frameworks and operational standards.
- Customer Service Management (CSM): Leverage your CSM experience to enhance and optimize customer service processes within the ServiceNow platform.
- Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate technical concepts and project requirements to both technical staff and business stakeholders. Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Project Management: Manage multiple priorities and competing demands while delivering high-quality solutions. Collaborate in a fast-paced, Agile environment with a focus on continuous process improvement.
- Technical Skills: Utilize strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions. Develop and integrate ServiceNow APIs with other applications as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-4 years of coding, testing, debugging, and documenting application programs, or 1-2 years of ServiceNow development experience with relevant ServiceNow certification.
- Education: Successful completion of computer science coursework or relevant field. Substitution of education for experience may be considered based on agency discretion.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle SQL), SOAP, REST API, Microsoft .NET, JavaScript, and XML programming.
- ServiceNow Expertise: Strong experience in ServiceNow API development and integration. ServiceNow Certified System Administration (CSA) is required. ITIL Certification or any ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications are preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with agencies, vendors, and executives.
Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administration (CSA) is mandatory.
- ITIL Certification or ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications are highly preferred.
- Training or experience with related technologies such as relational databases, SOAP, REST API, and programming languages (JavaScript, XML) is required.
