The internship program at Kushner Studios aims to provide aspiring architects/interior designers/artists/ with little or no professional background and still attending a relevant university program, or recent graduates the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a multifaceted architectural firm.
Description and Responsibilities: Working in a creative, fast past paced and professional setting, the internship training provides the chance to apply the knowledge gained in an educational environment to the many diverse tasks typically found in a design-build business. Interns will be considered part of the learning team, responsible for supporting project managers. They will be asked to perform a variety of tasks under the direct observation and/or supervision of a Kushner Studios employee,
Duties here will roughly be as follows: Interns will assist the principal and all other staff (junior partner, project managers, office manager, etc.) in a variety of office duties and projects including, but not limited to: field surveys, project drawings, presentation and construction document work, office administration work. Additionally, CAD work, etc. Knowledge of Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. is expected or can be learned in the field.

Qualifications: Candidates currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited architectural program must be enthusiastic and motivated with a working knowledge of AutoCAD, and Revit, knowledge of Vectorworks/Macs a plus. General knowledge of word and excel.
Remuneration: One time -Stipend: - $2,200.00 Full-time / $1,750.00 Part-time
Duration: 12 weeks - 15 weeks
Hours per Week: 28hrs (Full-time) and 18hrs (Part-time)
Schedule/Timeline:
The internship program runs in conjunction with the college semesters.
Fall: September through December
Spring: January through April
Summer: May through August
