Where You Come In:  

KCF Technologies is seeking participants in many areas of study to contribute to our high-performing teams as part of the Future Innovators Internship Program. This 10-week, full-time paid program June 2 – August 8 will take place at our KCF Headquarters in-person, or remotely, depending on where home is for you. With our work from home, work from anywhere policy, the choice of where to work is yours.

Our home base is our headquarters in State College, PA, but you will find KCF Teammates spread across 27 different U.S. States with our flexible remote model. We give you the autonomy to define how and where you do your best work!

Essential Functions:

  • Support the delivery of reliability maintenance solution service remotely (i.e.data analysis of industrial machine health using KCF Technologies' SMARTDiagnostic software).
  • Aid in problem solving the health of customer equipment to ensure zero downtime, waste, and safety incidents.
  • Set warning and alarm limits for all customer critical machine assets and notification criteria using industrial knowledge, ISO standards or customer feedback.
  • General upkeep of customer systems including but not limited to: asset details, pictures, alarm acknowledgement, alarm levels, event logging, user access, hardware counts, hardware availability reports, etc.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of machine learning algorithms (MachineIQ) for the purpose of machine health analysis.
  • Collaborate on the creation of weekly/biweekly/monthly machine health reports that summarize data anomalies, faults identified, data insights, results of actions, success metrics, hardware updates, etc.
  • Answer general inquiry questions regarding KCF machine health solutions products.
  • Perform business/value analysis to identify savings, ROI, and additional value to customers.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Manufactauring Engineering or similar
  • Interest in maintenance reliability, manufacturing, or data analysis a plus
  • Demonstrates leadership in field of study, extra-curricular activities or service organizations
  • Willingness to ask questions, take initiative and be resourceful and inventive
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization, customers, and stakeholders as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability present to executive level audiences
  • Proven ability to deliver creative solutions to complicated problems
