Role Overview: As a Campus Ambassador for WSMM, you will play a critical role in expanding our reach and helping fellow students at your university achieve their Wall Street career aspirations. In this role, you will not only have the opportunity to go through our program to enhance your own prospects, but you will also be responsible for spreading the word about WSMM on your campus. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated students to gain valuable experience, build a professional network, and earn commission while contributing to the success of their peers.
Responsibilities:
- Outreach & Recruitment: Actively engage with relevant student organizations, career services, and the business schools at your university to identify and recruit students who are interested in working with WSMM.
- Partnership Development: Pitch and secure partnerships with key campus entities to promote WSMM, including student organizations, career centers, and academic departments.
- Marketing & Promotion: Develop and distribute marketing materials to increase WSMM’s visibility on campus, including social media outreach, flyers, and presentations.
- One-on-One Engagement: Meet with interested students to share your experience with WSMM and explain how the program can help them achieve their career goals.
- Event Coordination: Organize and host informational sessions, workshops, and networking events to attract potential candidates.
- Tracking & Reporting: Use the provided software tools to manage your recruitment efforts, including generating unique call booking links and tracking your progress.
- Attend Meetings: Includes bi-weekly teamwide meeting, bi-weekly 1:1 with your manager, bi-weekly 1:1 with your school partner, and potentially other meetings on an as needed basis.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with an expected graduation date of December 2024 or later
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in investment banking or buyside investing on Wall Street
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Ability to commit 5-10 hours per week to ambassador responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- It’s a plus if you’re well connected with the finance orgs on campus
