We are currently searching for interns to join our IT department next year. You will be working in a creative, fast-paced, and professional setting. The internship training provides the chance to gain knowledge in the IT area. This position will be working to help our teams build a great foundation for them to work off, so they have a head start with each new project. It is an exciting position within WoodmenLife.  
 
What we are looking for:  

 

Strong interest in software development and problem solving.   

Ability to learn and utilize available technologies. 

Interested in working with Azure and Microsoft toolsets and technologies; any experience with Azure Devops (pipelines and work items) would be helpful 

Needs to have an innovative mindset and think strategically. 

Experience with development languages such as Java, C++, .NET,  Python, would be a plus. 

Have a GPA of 3.5 or above (preferred). 

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, be approachable and enjoy working with passionate people.  

Engages well with others and strives to provide a positive customer experience.  

Show initiative, be a self-starter, and be highly motivated. 

The desire to be a part of the culture that is WoodmenLife is a must. 

Good Wi-Fi for Remote or hybrid work.

Commitment: Full work week (38.75 hours)
