2025 BOLT Intern - Midstream Commercial

The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program. Kinder Morgan is one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. We own an interest in or operate approximately 79,000 miles of pipelines and 139 terminals. Our pipelines transport natural gas, gasoline, crude oil, carbon dioxide (CO2) and more. BUSINESS UNIT:  NATURAL GAS PIPELINES 

With approximately 67,000 miles of natural gas pipelines, Kinder Morgan owns an interest in or operates the largest natural gas network in North America. We serve the major consuming markets of the United States, and our pipelines transport approximately 40 percent of the natural gas consumed in the U.S. Our pipelines are connected to every important natural gas resource play and supply area, including the Eagle Ford, Marcellus, Bakken, Utica, Uinta Permian, Haynesville, Fayetteville and Barnett.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

  • Learn to comprehend the entire workflow from contract creation to invoicing
  • Use SCADA to review and monitor point flows at a scheduling desk
  • Manage daily confirmations, transportation logistics and schedules
  • Ensure that pricing and rates loaded for billing are consistent with executed contracts
  • Set up and maintain contractual pricing and transactional level information for various product types
  • Responsible for drafting, system set-up, maintenance and administration of contracts

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Working towards Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or other business related majors
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Ability to function effectively in both a team and individual environment
  • Attention to detail and strong computer skills are essential
  • Driven to discover and determined to deliver
  • Entering either the junior or senior year of college (preferred)

Minimum GPA required: 3.0
