2025 Internship Program (Non IT)

Medical Mutual has been selected as a Northeast Ohio Top Workplace by the Plain Dealer for the past thirteen years.  We’re looking for a self-starter and a quick-learner to help us continue being the best health insurance choice for Ohioans. 

College students participate in internships that are 10-12 weeks over the summer with competitive hourly wages. Locations can be in Brooklyn, OH or in other Medical Mutual locations.

Role Responsibilities: 

·      Participates in host area on projects that will benefit the company 

·      Gain business and technology experience from a community focused company and its customer-focused culture and mission 

·      Participates through in-depth, on-the-job experience with classroom training, actual projects, mentoring, networking and team building opportunities, to identify strengths and develop professional skills that will help advance career goals 

·      Get involved in the community with team building volunteer activities 

This role has potential for intern to return in June of 2026 and be a part of our Career Associate Program. The program provides an introduction to Medical Mutual’s on the job work, classroom management and training, online training, as well as a concentration on specific skills.

Minimum qualifications: 

·      College students with a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Masters preferred standing with a cumulative 2.8 GPA or higher obtained 

·      Preferred Majors: Computer Science or Communications 

·      Desired Skills: Effective communication, business analysis, web development concepts, technical writing, Achievement Attitude, Teamwork, experience working on a large project
