Adaptive Planning Post Production Consultant I

Location - Chicago, IL (Must be 45 miles or less within Chicago city limits)
Mandatory Workday Training Dates: 9/30/2024 - 11/1/2024

Workday Training will be held in person at the TopBloc office (600 W. Chicago Ave.)

Using our internal proprietary tool we are able to quickly implement Workday Human Capital Management, Payroll, and Financials business processes and technology, letting our customers focus on their business while they gain immediate value. Once live, we also provide expertise and resources as needed to support the customer’s individual Workday solution.

We are looking for a Adaptive Planning Post Production Consultant I who is passionate about working in a collaborative environment and has the ambition to be a driver for success.

 

Requirements (What We’re Looking For):

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience (required).

Understanding of core accounting principles, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and financial metrics.

Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar budgeting, forecasting, or data analytics tools (preferred).

1+ years of experience in client-facing roles or consulting (preferred).

Experience with manipulating data in Microsoft Excel using functions and/or macros (preferred)

Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, tickets, and initiatives simultaneously.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust and confidence in client and co-worker relationships.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and incorporate diverse perspectives.

 

Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):

Attend Adaptive Planning training and become Adaptive Planning certified.

Provide post-implementation support to optimize Adaptive Planning environments across diverse industries, ensuring ongoing success. 

Define and implement Adaptive Planning processes that align with client business objectives, maximizing the software’s effectiveness and utilization.

Implement system enhancements to improve performance and user experience.

Collaborate with clients to assess their evolving financial planning needs and recommend improvements, including the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and financial models.

Conduct user training sessions, develop comprehensive documentation, and provide ongoing support.

Work closely with internal teams to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.

Stay updated on the latest Adaptive Planning and related technology developments, actively participating in internal training and knowledge-sharing within the organization.

 

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The hiring base pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At TopBloc, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range salary is $50,000 - $68,000.
