What you’ll gain:
As a Manufacturing Operations Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience in the field through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects. A few learning opportunities include:

• Process Optimization: Assisting in the analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Production Support: Supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations, including monitoring production lines, addressing operational issues, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Data Analysis: Collecting and analyzing production data to identify trends, track performance metrics, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Equipment Maintenance: Assisting with the maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Quality Control: Helping with quality control processes, including inspecting products, conducting tests, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Documentation: Maintaining and updating manufacturing documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and production reports.
• Project Involvement: Participating in projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes, implementing new technologies, or enhancing overall operations.
• Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to support manufacturing operations and achieve production goals.

What you need to be successful:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship
• Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0
   

Skills:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic project management or organizational skills.
