Western & Southern is looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting Touchstone Investments in various projects throughout the year. You will be working closely with our data and analytics team to perform trend analysis, assist in the analysis and interpretation of data to support various projects, as well as work and collaborate with all areas of Touchstone. This role will offer hands-on experience with real world analytics projects, provide great exposure to senior leadership within the business, and opportunities to learn about data driven decision making that drives initiatives.
To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current campaigns.
Duration of Internship: Summer 2025
Intern Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting and analyzing datasets from multiple sources to uncover insights that can help support business decisions.
- Support ongoing data projects which require data cleansing, validation, and modeling.
- Report and present findings to stakeholders.
- Perform ad hoc analyses as requested by teams or leadership
Intern Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a related field.
- A Junior or Senior.
- Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
