What you’ll gain:
 

As an Industrial/Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience in the field through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects. A few learning opportunities include:
 

• Process Analysis: Analyzing existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Lean and Six Sigma: Applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve process efficiency.
• Workflow Optimization: Developing and implementing solutions to optimize workflow and enhance productivity.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering and analyzing data to support continuous improvement initiatives and measure their effectiveness.
• Project Management: Participating in and managing projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Standard Operating Procedures: Assisting in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
• Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain, to drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Training and Support: Providing training and support to employees on new processes and improvement initiatives.

What you need to be successful:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship
• Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic project management or organizational skills.

Availability:
