What you’ll gain:
 

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience in the field through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects. A few learning opportunities include:

• Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
   
• Lean Manufacturing: Applying lean manufacturing principles to optimize production workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
   
• Equipment Optimization: Assisting in the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
   
• Quality Control: Conducting tests and inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
   
• Data Analysis: Analyzing production data to identify trends, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
   
• Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including design, supply chain, and quality assurance, to support product development and manufacturing operations.
   
• Project Management: Participating in project planning and execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

 What you need to be successful:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship
• Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic project management or organizational skills.
