Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking Engineering Interns to join our teams this upcoming Summer 2025 in locations across the United States! Phillips-Medisize is an end-to-end provider of innovation, development and manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical, diagnostics and medical device industries.

Engineering Interns at Phillips-Medisize are assigned to one of our many U.S. locations to help support innovation, process efficiency, product reliability, and quality assurance, with a large overarching focus on compliance, safety, and health. When considering and selecting location preferences, candidates should consider those facilities in which they’re willing to work for the duration of their time as an intern, in addition to where they’d be interested in receiving a full-time offer from, should they perform well. 

What You Will Do

 

Our internship program seeks talent from many disciplines including (but not limited to): 

 

  • Biomedical Engineering 
  • Engineering Technology
  • Industrial Engineering 
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Optical Engineering
  • Plastics Engineering
  • Quality, Operational Excellence, Process Engineering

 

 

Some examples of responsibilities or projects include:

  • Engage with a focused team of engineers to support the product development process ensuring robust product / process design and manufacturability in low and high volumes.  
  • Develop and implement a cost-effective manufacturing strategy for new products to meet customer’s production and delivery requirements.
  • Ensure top quality of products by updating work instructions, resolving quality issues, and keeping up-to-date engineering records and documentation
  • Work with New Product Introduction (NPI) and/or Sustaining Engineers as needed to debug new products and processes, to validate product performance, and meet customer needs – delivery, quality, and performance.  
  • Support plant engineers as needed in production capacity planning and continual process improvements. 
  • Work alongside engineers from a variety of disciplines – quality, manufacturing, project, process, etc. to meet business goals

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

 

  • Enrolled in an Engineering degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
  • Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2027.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.


 

What Will Put You Ahead

 

 

  • Enrolled in a Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Optical, or related Engineering degree program

In order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.


 

 

For this role, we anticipate paying between $25- $30 per hour.
