Job Description/Responsibilities:

Our Distillery Internship Program offers an exceptional opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of our industry and what it takes to lead teams/change in a fast paced and dynamic organization. This program centers on our team's main focus: To identify and develop people leaders within Distillation.
Through business-critical projects, you will gain a working understanding of our industry, develop your professional skill sets all while directly contributing to company growth. Expectations of Distillery Leadership Development Internship: Our Interns work closely with our distillery’s top talent, gain a thorough understanding of our departments and the career opportunities within each, all while working hands on contributing to and leading projects that directly impact company productivity.
The Internship Experience:
12-week summer internship from May 19th 2025 to August 9th 2025
Professional development workshops and networking opportunities
Social and philanthropic activities
Work with a mentor to develop project plans, set goals, and receive continuous feedback
Complete process improvement projects in assigned areas, including barrel warehousing, distilling, planning, and quality
Develop and write standards for assigned processes
End of summer project presentation
Opportunity to earn a full-time position post-graduation
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Distillation, Fermentation Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Process Engineering, or related field
Anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027
3.0 cumulative GPA
Self-motivated, strong work ethic, innovative, solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for learning
Team player with effective communication skills and a high level of emotional intelligence
Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude
Must be at least 21 years of age by the start of the internship
Permanent authorization to work in the United States for any employer
Sazerac will not hire students who will now, or at any point in the future, require visa sponsorship to work in the United States.
