Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide direct service delivery as indicated by child’s IEP and/or Treatment Plan
  • Complete related service procedures: treatment planning, record keeping, and progress reporting
  • Develop IEPs and/or Treatment Plans
  • Develop supplementary documents and/or materials relevant to treatment goals and implementation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and/or parent progress meetings
  • Administer evaluations and complete written evaluation report
  • Communicate proactively and effectively with learners’ parents regarding progress and/or concerns
  • Communicate effectively with instructional staff regarding learners’ strengths and needs within the speech-language domain
  • Provide materials relevant to learners’ strengths and needs to parents and/or instructional staff
  • Participate in intra- and inter-disciplinary professional development (meetings, in-services, etc.)  
  • Maintain cleanliness and integrity of therapy materials and school environment
  • Communicate concerns to Clinical Coordinator/Supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned
