This paid research position engages students in early career opportunities in computational science.  The students will work closely with the Principal Investigator on cutting edge computational quantum physics research projects. Specific tasks include coding, numerical simulation, and data analysis.  Students are required to have excellent mathematics aptitude, keen understanding of basics physics/science concepts, and high proficiency in C++ programming and/or python.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Skills: 

Excellent mathematics aptitude, keen understanding of basics physics/science concepts, and high proficiency in C++ programming and/or python

 

Major/Coursework Required: 

Computer science or applied math.

 

Skills: 

C++ and/or Python
