2024-25 Intervention Specialist (Southern Ohio Learning Center).

Position: Intervention Specialist

Location: Southern Ohio Learning Center (SOLC) | Southern Ohio Educational Service Center

General Description: Under general supervision, the Intervention Specialist will assess and evaluate developmental levels of students, plan and implement Individual Education Plans, provide appropriate instruction and personal care for assigned students, work collaboratively with paraprofessionals and other staff, communicate effectively with families, and prepare and maintain required reports.  Reference the job description linked below for additional information.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree.

Valid Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist Teaching license or the ability to obtain through Supplemental or Alternative Licensure pathways.

Must be credentialed as highly qualified in core subject areas assigned.

Must pass a criminal background check.

Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Selected candidate will be under the directive of the building administrator.
