Primary Role: Provide administrative/clerical support for the IU School of Dentistry Office of Student Affairs & Admissions

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


40% Act as an initial point of contact for visitors to the Office of Student Affairs & Admissions; answering general questions, appointment scheduling, and directing guest/calls to appropriate staff; help maintain a welcoming environment and cleanliness of office space and equipment. 


40% Assist Office of Student Affairs & Admissions staff with daily recordkeeping and data entry, including scanning, photocopying, filing; learning IU software programs; check and respond to emails in the departmental account.

20% Assist Office of Student Affairs & Admissions faculty and staff with special projects as needed. This could include event preparation and logistical support for new student orientation, Commencement, and other IUSD programs.

Communication Skills-You will collaborate with a variety of faculty, staff, and students at the dental school, as well as external stakeholders and community partners.

 

Community Contribution- This position requires candidates to demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness and ethical behavior, discretion handling sensitive information. 

 

Organization- You will be balancing daily tasks and projects with varied deadlines.
