Hybrid Wheat Breeding Intern

Job Description

You will:

  • Gain practical experience while building leadership capabilities and a professional network working with breeding and applied analytics and data sciences teams to develop a controlled environment phenotyping proof of concept that can inform future protocol development.
  • Coordinate and give feedback to the North America breeding team to allow for accurate data collection on hybrid trials for performance traits in spring and winter wheat.
  • Conduct descriptive and statistical analyses of field and controlled environment data to support scientists in driving product performance.
  • Develop expertise to recommend strategic update to our product evaluation strategy that will support R&D, aligned with our business goals of delivering for the customer.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • MS/PhD degree in December 2025 or after, preferably in plant breeding, agronomy, seeds production research or related field
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable moving violations record
