The bp Early Career Program internship provides an excellent introduction to a multi-faceted global business. The internship program features meaningful project work, combined with numerous learning and development opportunities. Interns have the chance to learn from some of the most dedicated professionals and work alongside co-workers in Supply, Marketing, Strategy, Retail Convenience and Aviation. This dynamic business is fast paced yet casual and conducive to learning and building new skills.

 

Intern - Marketing, Retail Convenience, Sales, and Strategy: This bp internship introduces you to a global business, involving project work and learning opportunities in various teams like Consumer Communications, Customer Experience Marketing, category Management, and Retail Operations.

 

Intern - Fuels Supply & Midstream: This internship immerses interns in BP's global supply chain, offering experience in teams such as Marketing Supply, Refinery Supply, and Fuel Pricing.

Internship Locations: Chicago (IL) and Louisville (KY)

 

Minimum Requirements 

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree
  • Must have cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Graduating in December 2025 through May 2026
  • No sponsorship is available for this position

 

Following the end of the internship, successful interns are assessed for a full-time role in our rotational Early Career Development Program. This highly selective three-year rotational program was developed to jump-start your career by providing a strong foundation of communication, social and leadership skills, as well as robust analytical and problem-solving abilities. Challengers in this program spend three one-year rotations in teams within Mobility and Convenience, Fuel Supply and Midstream, Aviation, and US Convenience businesses. Rotations could be in either Chicago (IL), Louisville (KY), Whiting (IN), or Blaine (WA). Successful candidates are expected to spend at least one rotation in a different location. There is a facilitated placement into the organization after successful completion of the program.
