Project Analyst Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Respond to and lead requests for ad-hoc reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights
  • Coordination and Management: Coordinate with leadership to manage internal meetings and oversee the development and creation of new report
  • Custom Report Writing: Utilize various BI tools to write and generate custom reports tailored to specific needs
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Program Delivery Teams, PMOs, and Senior Management to identify top reporting requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive pre-emptive decision-making and add value
  • System Setup and Maintenance: Conduct ad-hoc analysis and handle related system setup and maintenance tasks as needed
  • Troubleshooting: Provide first-line triage and reporting troubleshooting expertise to IS business units and key stakeholders
  • Analytical and Project Management Skills: Apply strong analytical and project management skills to interpret internal customer needs and translate them into business requirements and reporting designs
  • Reporting Roadmaps: Collaborate with project managers and subject matter experts to establish reporting roadmaps and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a keen eye for detail and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-Service Tools: Build reports, dashboards, and other data tools that enable self-service capabilities for users

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with leadership and stakeholders
  • Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL or other programming languages used for data manipulation
  • Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with industry-specific metrics and KPIs

The hourly rate for this position is $15 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws.
