Job Purpose

Dana Incorporated is seeking to fill a 2025 spring engineering co-op position in their gear lab located at their World Headquarters in Maumee, OH. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills by working alongside Dana's engineers in the completion of departmental oriented tasks/assignments.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Gear lab is responsible for successful production of prototype gears for Dana’s axle assemblies.
•    Operate gear production equipment and perform tooling change overs.
•    Collect data and analyze gear dimensions to make necessary machine adjustments
•    Opportunity to learn about gear production.

 

Requirements:

  • Enrollment & active pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Specific majors: Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • Proven work experience, strong analytical ability, & excellent mechanical aptitude.
  • Self-directed & motivated individual with great organizational skills.
  • Experience with Manufacturing or Assembly a plus.
  • Willing to do multiple assignments & rotate through other engineering departments.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Good oral & written communication skills.
  • Must be able to interface in a team environment.
