The role

We're looking for quantitative researchers to join a fast growing team excited to work on all aspects of the trading lifecycle from idea generation to data analysis, quantitative modeling, portfolio optimization and execution. 

 

What you'll do

  • Conduct rigorous quantitative research and analysis relating to alpha generation, trading and portfolio construction
  • Keep up to date with modern research trends / publications and build hypothesis on possible use cases of recent advancements
  • Develop expertise in a wide variety of data sources and understand their uses in alpha generation
  • Write production level code to be used in live trading
  • Organize research processes and put thought into the most efficient path to monetization
  • Create and improve tools streamline existing processes and analytics
  • Use best in class cloud computing infrastructure to work with massive data sets and new modeling techniques 

     

What you'll need to succeed

  • An educational background in a quantitative discipline, such as physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering or statistics
  • A solid understanding of programing principles and data manipulation
  • The ability to quickly model and test the viability of new research
  • Familiarity with major machine learning models and techniques
  • Mature communication skills, with the ability to succinctly articulate complex ideas and conclusions
  • A passion for math, science and technology as well as an interest in financial markets
  • An ability to think outside the box and create creative solutions to problems
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to work hard on impactful problems
