Project Management Summer Intern
Our Project Managers drive the execution of strategic projects and operational processes across the Firm and within specific departments. We work cross-functionally to ensure the Firms goals and priorities are being met in an ever growing and complex environment.
The summer intern would work with our teams to assist in the analysis, organization, prioritization, and communication around our cross-functional initiatives (e.g., firm-wide growth opportunities, process redesign, etc.) across all areas of the firm to drive organizational change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and work plans
- Determine project timeframes, funding requirements, procedures, and technology needs
- Partner with development teams on various aspects of the software development lifecycle
- Provide regular reports highlighting program status, milestones, metrics, and key risks
- Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, workflows, presentations, and other project documentation
- Convert complex issues into simple, understandable concepts
- Identify areas for improvement, anticipate project risks, and develop effective solutions
- Support end user training, promote adoption of new functionality, and help with product rollout
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Rising seniors who are interested in a future career at a top-tier alternative asset financial services firm
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and analytical skills
- Strong technical skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $75,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
