Test Engineering Technician
Responsibilities: The Test Engineering technician will be primarily responsible for the setup and use of the ATE (automated test equipment) to test semiconductor products, support qualification test, data collection, and executing experiments to debug setup silicon and test solutions. Furthermore, the individual will be responsible for preparing technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems, as required. We are looking for reliable and responsible candidates that will take ownership of projects and will plan their daily schedule with consideration to project priorities, engineer’s needs, and required deadlines. The position requires flexible work hours, and it will be the responsibility of the technician to schedule their test time which is largely available during evening hours and potentially overnight hours.
Required qualifications
· Minimum Education Level: Associates Degree in Electronics or similar
· Strong computer skills in MS Excel and Word, and Windows operating system
· Self-motivated and ability to work with little supervision
· Good communication skills
· Strong collaborative skills in team environment
· Outstanding organizational and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail
· Ability to learn and understand process flow quickly and support the engineering organization
Preferred qualifications
· Be able to operate and debug setups on at least one of the following platforms: Eagle 364, ETS88, or another Eagle Tester, V93k, IFLEX, VLCT
· Ability to read electrical schematics and use measurement and signal source instruments.
· Read device datalog and understand device electrical parameters.
· Good understanding for statistical process control
· Proactive in learning new skills and seeking out new challenges and projects
