In this role, you'll manage daily marketing initiatives and provide support for a region.

Reporting to the head of campaign and demand marketing, you'll collaborate with the demand marketing team to design and implement regional campaigns that boost our brand visibility in the market. This involves a range of activities including but not limited to local in-person events, working with local stakeholders to understand key priorities and opportunities for the region to feed back into the broader marketing team, sourcing branding and thought leadership opportunities in line with group strategy, supporting the local delivery of marketing campaigns, sales enablement and CRM education and support. 

You will act as the key point of contact for local stakeholders in the region to liaise with marketing, collaborating closely with local the regional managing director, local country heads, sales team, CRM team and delivering feedback and insights into the wider marketing and comms team to shape strategy. 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the key marketing touchpoint for regional stakeholders; including the Regional MD, country heads, local sales and CRM teams.
  • Action local requirements i.e., business card production, brand support requests, HR and employer brand/recruitment support.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the regional content on the website is kept up to date and accurate at all times – including roles and location page descriptions as the Apex Group continues to grow and evolve.
  • Understand local regulations in the jurisdictions you support to ensure compliance with marketing and data protection regulations – feeding insights into the Marketing Operations team to input into process docs and policies as required.
  • Be the marketing guru and sales enabler for your region – facilitating training on key marketing technologies that support your region in delivering on pipeline and cross-sell targets – taking accountability for local adoption of marketing technologies and tools.
  • Be the day-to-day contact and liaison from the marketing team, linking the region into Group marketing and supporting growth needs, by working closely with the Demand Marketer to align activities with revenue objectives.
  • Understand the global, regional and local strategies to support the demand team in executing on pipeline generation tactics and deliver complementary brand awareness activities to support the top of the funnel.
  • Be able to align with top level strategic global marketing objectives to deliver suitable activities that support our marketing goals in your region and respective countries.
  • Work with the portfolio marketing team to understand audiences and products to support sales education and enablement through education and communication into your region.
  • Work closely with the brand and comms team to ensure advertising and brand awareness activities across region are impactful and on message – feeding brand opportunities back to the management team to inform strategy.
  • Feed content ideas into the central comms team to ensure local topics are covered in the content production process and big pieces of content are repurposed as required for campaigns and programs.
  • Take part in the campaign planning process with the campaign team; including portfolio marketing, content marketing, demand marketing and marketing ops to ensure a consistent and well-planned approach to execution.
  • Support the events manager with local delivery and act as primary contact for local vendors – including support with logistics and delivering, branded goods, collateral and content, banners and booth setup etc.
  • Provide insights into the best places to advertise and manage local relationships with member bodies and/or associations to leverage exposure locally.
  • Generate buy-in and support for marketing programs from local sales teams lead and key stakeholders.
  • Complete monthly/quarterly reporting on regional marketing activity to measure impact and alignment to objectives.

 

 

As the company continues to expand and the marketing team structure evolves, this role is required to evaluate impact and adapt to changes. 

 

Skills Required:

  • Excellent standard of written English
  • A natural communicator, able to develop relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside of the marketing and comms teams
  • A problem solver, someone who finds solutions that support business objectives and has creative ideas on how to promote our brand into different countries within a region
  • An understanding of the asset management space or experience in a similar role would be an added advantage
  • A strong understanding of cultural nuances and an authentic wish to align with our values and promote them across the region (we care, we promote respect, we are exceptional, we drive growth)
  • Ability to handle time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines
  • Enjoy taking responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously and know how to keep yourself, and others around you, organised and focused on a plan
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills to manage internal stakeholders and work at a fast pace with the rest of the marketing team
  • Enjoy working with a diverse group of colleagues and stakeholders and the ability to work remotely from your colleagues and remain connected through regular calls and conversations
  • A natural aptitude for collaboration and thrive on working in a high-pressure environment

Salary ranges from USD $40,000.00 – USD $50,000.00 plus additional variable uncapped compensation based on performance. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
