Entry-Level Business Analyst
Job Summary: As an entry-level Business Analyst, you will work closely with senior analysts and other team members to support various business functions. You will assist in analyzing data, gathering requirements, and helping to design solutions that improve business processes. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for data analysis, problem-solving, and business process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Requirement Gathering: Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, surveys, and workshops.
- Process Mapping: Support the development of process maps and flowcharts to visualize current and future business processes.
- Report Generation: Help create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure the alignment of business objectives.
- Solution Design: Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions to business problems and inefficiencies.
- Testing and Validation: Assist in the testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain clear and detailed documentation of processes, requirements, and solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internships or academic projects in business analysis or a related field.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages.
- Knowledge of business process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN).
