The Role

We're seeking a talented and motivated Data Science Intern to join our innovative team. This role is perfect for a new graduate or senior in college looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, AI-driven startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining and instrumenting key metrics for growth and product development
  • Analyze user behavior and app performance using tools like Amplitude and BigQuery
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis
  • Participate in web scraping projects using Apify to gather restaurant and ingredient data
  • Collaborate with the team to derive actionable insights from data to drive business decisions
  • Contribute to the development of AI-backed marketing techniques

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Strong programming skills, particularly in Python or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
  • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for food, nutrition, and transparency in the food industry

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with web scraping techniques
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform)
  • Understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
  • Interest in AI and its applications in business and marketing
