Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP): Yearlong Fellowship
Through the Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP), Colorado College offers graduating students paid, full-time fellowships with nonprofit partner organizations within Colorado. Eligible students will have completed their CC requirements to graduate between Aug 2024 and May 2025.
CC PIFP Fellows work for 10-12 months for progressive organizations in cities with built-in cohorts of PIFP peers and CC alumni mentors. During their post-graduate fellowship positions, they'll do everything from completing projects that target growth and change in society to entry-level nonprofit work in order to secure a foot in the nonprofit door.
Through the PIFP Yearlong Fellowship you can expect:
- A built-in cohort of PIFP peers
- To be paid to work for social change
- To work in Colorado
- Intentional professional development with PIFP
- The availability of mentoring with CC alumni
- To get your foot in the nonprofit door and make professional contacts for life
Individual job descriptions will be posted on the PIFP website and in Handshake between November 15, 2024 - January 13, 2025. You will have the opportunity to indicate interest in specific fellowships offered by partner organizations.
An application (essay questions, resume, & two references) is required for EACH fellowship of interest via Handshake. A separate PIFP interest, work authorization, & commitment form must be submitted directly to PIFP to complete your application.
