Event Planning & Management - DokuFest
Intern at the largest film festival in Kosovo and the top film event in South East Europe!
DokuFest, (International Documentary and Short Film Festival), established in 2002, fosters media literacy through documentary films across Kosovo. DokuFest addresses cultural, educational, and activist initiatives focused on fostering strong cultural policies and alternative education systems in Kosovo.
Since 2002, the festival has grown into a cultural event that attracts international and regional artists and audiences. Films are screened throughout the nine-day festival. They are accompanied by programs, activities, and workshops, including DokuPhoto exhibitions, DokuNights, DokuKids, and rich programs of socially engaging debates, master classes and Q&A sessions after the screenings.
Since 2019, DokuFest has earned the esteemed status of being a BAFTA (the British Academy of Film and Television Arts) qualifying festival for short films. In 2022, DokuFest became a nominating film festival for the European Film Awards in two categories, short film and documentary film. This annual event is supported by the passion and energy of a large local and international community that buzz around every corner of Prizren.
