Speech-Language Pathologist
JOB INFORMATION
The Speech-Language Pathologist is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services - Children's Rehabilitation Service Division. Positions are located throughout the state. Current openings are in Anniston/Gadsden and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This is professional work in a speech and language disorders program designed to improve communications skills of persons with disabilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT(S)
• Master’s degree from an accredited* college or university with a major in Speech-Language Pathology
• One year of experience in Speech-Language Pathology with a concentration in diagnosing and treating speech-language disorders
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT(S)
• Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Possession of a License issued by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology
• Copies of both the certificate and the license must accompany the application. Those applications without copies WILL BE RETURNED.
