Recruitment Marketing Intern

As part of the 2024 Internship Program, you’ll collaborate with the internship class on special projects and community events, communicate directly with company leadership, and participate in professional development activities, all while developing your skills day-to-day. 

We are looking for a recruitment marketing intern to join our SelectQuote Talent Acquisition team. This person is creative, adaptable, and motivated to learn about SelectQuote, our hiring process, goals, and employer branding and recruitment marketing fundamentals. 

The internship role is a combination of marketing and talent acquisition functions that ultimately leads to how we advertise our open positions, communicate with candidates, and tell our story as an employer of choice.

Role Summary

  • The Recruitment Marketing Intern would be a critical part of the employment brand team at SelectQuote helping to position us externally as an employer of choice for top talent. 
  • Their knowledge and expertise in digital storytelling will help bring the SelectQuote experience to life in a way to attract potential employees as well as engage our current workforce. A strong candidate first mindset will aide in helping to develop SelectQuote’s social media planning and email campaigns. An analytical mind and desire to use insights to make informed decisions will build their basic marketing capabilities in creating high-performing digital media plans to support business-critical hiring needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication Skills (written, presentation & verbal)
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate and drive consensus
  • Ability to analyze data and collect/compile insights
  • Expertise in all social media channels and familiarity with curating/posting content
  • Knowledge in editing and basic design software (imovie, canva, etc.)
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
  • Degree focused in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Strategic Communications, Human Resources, or other related field

Responsibilities 

  • Will be assigned a special Recruitment Marketing Project to complete which consists of managing a series of direct email campaigns by using employer branding strategies to attract high-quality applicants
  • Work with the Recruitment Marketing Specialist on various marketing projects related to GlassDoor & Indeed
  • Participate in recruitment-related meetings as needed
  • Help with social media strategy weekly (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)
