Quality Analyst
REPCO, a food manufacturer since 1945, provides the world with the highest quality nutritional premixes for Commercial Mills, Bakeries, and Food Manufacturers! We are seeking a full-time Quality Analyst to add to our Quality Team. This position is Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM CST. The starting hourly rate is $24.00 per hour with the opportunity for increases based upon successful completion and proficiency in our Quality Training Program.
Job Purpose: To provide the highest level of quality standards in providing best-in-class laboratory services to internal and external customers as an ISO-certified lab.
Essential Functions:
• Skillful handling and execution of analytical chemistry, methodologies, and systems for purpose of delivering accurate results to internal and external customers.
• Efficient and safe operation in a lab environment with a variety of equipment and glassware
such as FTIR, UPLC chromatograph, ICP, ovens, muffle furnace, pH meter, lab glassware,
Spectrometer and Fluorometer, as examples.
• Maintain records relating to all quality activities as documented in SOPs, test methods,
reserve samples, and batch-related documents.
• Assist in the design, implementation, execution, and interpretations of experiments at the laboratory, pilot, and plant scale.
• Consulting with all internal customers to ensure their expectations are being met.
• Active participation in food safety programs, inspections, HACCP verifications, housekeeping, and training.
• Responsible for following all good manufacturing practices, applicable HACCP principles, laws, and statutory regulations/guidelines in alignment with ISO 17025 and FDA, monitoring CCPs, and
other work as assigned.
• Sampling, testing, and interpretation for microbiology activity.
• Proactively work with staff in achieving the organization's objectives.
• Projects as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Knowledge and Experience:
•2+ years of basic chemistry and/or laboratory experience with a BS in Chemistry or Science.
•Familiarity with ISO 17025, OSHA, and HACCP are a plus.
•Food industry experience preferred.
•Consistent and open communication at all levels within and outside the organization.
•Able to work with others to deliver results against challenging schedules.
