Youth Soccer Coach/Trainer Intern

Youth Soccer Coach Intern:

Sportology Academy Club is hiring interns for soccer coach interns and trainer interns to work with 3 to 14 year old youth. Help make a huge difference in how youth learn sports. Most sessions are in Orland Park but can also be in Palos Park, Homer Glen, Orland Hills and Tinley Park.  Our main schedule is Monday , Wednesday and Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with possible days on the weekends for games or tournaments. We are also building out more programs for Tuesday and Thursday for the late fall/winter season with the same time frame.  Initially, we are recruiting for a ten week period beginning as soon as possible. Beyond that we do have opportunities for people to work with us longer term. We are looking to recruit an energetic coach with a passion for working in youth soccer, who will continue to aid the development of the current player pool. Interns are not paid how ever will be considered for a more permanent  paid position based on performance ,previous experiences and qualifications.  You will also have the opportunity to get your coaching license and personal training license credit hours. If you would like to pursue getting a license we have a tuition reimbursement program for interns that qualify.

Key Responsibilities include;

* Deliver quality training sessions in line with club/director philosophy (lesson plans provided)

* Maintain engaging sessions with an emphasis on individual technical and tactical development

* Communicate in a timely manner with all entities of the program (club, director, coaches, parents, players)

Skills/Required Knowledge:

* High School diploma or GED

* Experience playing soccer

* Previous experience in coaching soccer preferred

* Holds a Valid US Driving License

* Ability to pass a mandatory Background Check

* Ability to legally work in the USA

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time

Pay: Internship not paid
