Strategic Marketing Internship
Join Squad for a 40-80 hour project-based internship focused on product launch of a new social groups application. As our intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment and complete a multi-disciplinary project that includes content creation, social media management, product promotion, and in-app engagement.
About Squad
Squad is a new micro-social application that combines culturally relevant content with a game-like interface to drive meaningful daily engagement within campus groups.
About the Project
The project is approximately 40 hours of work, focused on the launch of Squad on campus. Hourly compensation in addition to bonuses based on user sign-ups are included.
Project Details
- Brainstorm recommendations for in-app content, including polls and question that would resonate with a specific campus audience
- Manage the setup of a localized social media channel for our specific campus launches, following our guidelines
- Develop an initial launch group of students through ambassador work, who will be invited at the app’s public launch in January
- Drive as many user sign-ups as possible through a variety of tactics Squad will provide in a marketing playbook
- Share content developed in-app on external social media channels and other creatives ways to support on-campus adoption
- Generate recommendations based on the product experience, gathering feedback from participants
This internship is ideal for students passionate about marketing. You'll develop practical skills in content creation, social media management, and campaign development while contributing to the growth of an exciting startup in the social media space.
Further, you’ll work alongside the company founders and get an inside look at the launch of a new venture-backed product.
Extended internships will be made available based on successful completion of this project-based program.
