Supply Chain Management Intern - Fall 2024 - Smyrna, TN

We’re currently looking for a SCM Intern - Fall 2024 to join our team in Smyrna, Tennessee.

 

Job functions Include but are not limited to:

Utilize data analysis in conjunction with supply chain and logistics knowledge to create data models, evaluate simulations, perform cost studies, and develop strategies for the future. 

Interface with many supply chain functions with the opportunity learn more about each department supporting the manufacturing facilities.

Take advantage of opportunities through structured amenities such as plant tours, networking with other interns, meeting with Nissan leadership, and job shadowing with other supply chain teams.

Perform a Kaizen, or continuous improvement, initiative delivering a proposal and/or implementing a recommended improvement.

 

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management or business Analytics from an accredited university

Have a GPA of 3.0 or above

Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail

Be self-motivated, willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets

Strong communication skills both written and oral

Have a data mindset with some experience in data analysis

Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Visio, and PowerPoint

Must possess advanced level Excel skills including complex formulas and simple macros

Knowledge of Tableau, SQL, R, and Python is advantageous
