Financial Modelling Remote Intern

Job Description:

As a Financial Modelling Remote Intern, you will help LCW prepare excel financial models to show cash flows including project cash flows and dividend cash flows based on waterfalls to limited partners. You will learn how to take a complicated investment structure and convert it into a numerical excel model. 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Conduct detailed research regarding cash flows of LCW projects and initiatives
  • Assist supervisors on financial modeling
  • Keep abreast of regulatory news, market trends, and related data
  • Participate in stimulating discussions and interactive sessions that cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation.
  • Obtain exposure to various aspects of our business by working on cross-functional assignments and projects.
  • Earn leadership responsibilities and autonomy in accordance with your performance, work quality, and demonstrated capabilities.

 

 Qualifications: 

  • Passion for Inclusion: A strong commitment to fighting inequality and promoting inclusion in the workplace.
  • Educational Background: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program related to social sciences, human resources, business.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create clear and engaging content.
  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and highly organized. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Technical Finance Skills: Proficiency in business software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word with a preference in previous financial knowledge and modeling experience

 

 Compensation and Expectations: 

This internship is remote and unpaid. Interns are expected to work 15-20 hours a week.
