Personal Assistant

Personal assistant wanted 3-4 hours one to two times per week for college student with a physical disability. Student needing assistance will be junior at GVSU, but lives in Kentwood. Intelligent and social, but has physical limitations and speech articulation issues. 

Tasks include: 1. Providing assistance with meals, 2. Assisting with clothing management and transfer for using bathroom, 3. Scribing/typing homework dictated by student, 4. Possible community outings and recreation/leisure activities. 

Person hired will have time for homework and personal activities during assisting time as student does not need constant assistance. 

Ideal for student going into healthcare or education. Must be female due to the nature of some of the care tasks. We are willing to work with/around class schedule. Must be able to get to home in Kentwood near 44th St. And Kalamazoo,
