
Investment Analyst Intern Fall 2024
This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain experience at a growing investment research boutique. We are looking to give interns the opportunity to focus on different research verticals based on their interests and pursue research under our guidance.
These areas include:
Equity Research
Credit Analysis
Macro Research
Arbitrage Strategies
Quantitative Research
We are looking to take on 5-8 interns. We will have most start in equity research and rotate to other areas based on your personal interests.
Responsibilities:
As an equity analyst you will be asked to create DCF models, make an investment thesis, then write a long form memo explaining your thesis and address the biggest factors affecting the ticker's outlook. You can expect guidance from us throughout the process. We will help develop your thesis through discussion and prompt you to think like an equity analyst.
Our credit, macro, and arbitrage roles will follow a similar structure where interns will research, come up with a thesis, and craft long form memos.
Lastly Quantitative research will focus more on replicating, modifying and theorizing research through backtests. We will focus on factor models, derivative strategies, stat-arb and more.
Working Location and Hours:
- This position is fully remote
- We are looking for around 20 hour / week commitment from interns with flexibility on the exact days and hours
- We will certify your hours for academic credit should that apply to you
Qualifications:
- An interest in investments
- Preferably experience building DCFs, Credit models, or backtesting strategies in python
- Some exposure to financial statement analysis, strong quantitative skills, and excellent grammatical skills
- Organized and able to meet deadlines when working independently
