Job Title: Account Executive (Multiple Positions Available)

Territory: Frisco, TX Collin College Area

Schedule: Internship, Part-Time

Office: Remote with local travel throughout a small territory in Frisco, TX

 

Job Summary: The purpose of the Account Executive role is to generate new merchant partnerships, increase student user acquisition, and foster brand awareness in the Colling College Area. The Account Executive handles assigned and acquired merchant partnerships, college student outreach, and event management.

 

This is a unique opportunity to experience working for a tech startup and help grow the company while also supporting local businesses and college students! This means Account Executives have more responsibilities than a typical employee but also more influence, impact, and income opportunity. As an Account Executive, you have the flexibility to work as your schedule allows (part time or full time) and from wherever you prefer (home, office, coffee shop, traveling).

 

In addition to an exciting income opportunity and flexible hours, Account Executives will learn valuable business, communication, sales, event management, public relations, entrepreneurship, and account management skills. There is also a potential career path for high performers.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

 

1. Daily Leadership Call – 15-minute virtual meeting

a. Time is set in collaboration with your supervisor and other team members

b. Used to set, review, and troubleshoot goals and objectives

c. On-the-Job Training and Mentorship is provided for all team members

 

2. Merchant Partnerships

a. Ensure existing merchant relationships are handled in a professional manner

b. Engage with new merchant leads to secure activation and partnerships

c. Develop innovative ways to exceed monthly goals set by partnering merchants

 

3. Student User Acquisition

a. Attend student outreach events (Tabling, directory distribution, etc.)

b. Promote student engagement with merchant partners

c. Encourage students to post and share on The Movement-Social platform

d. Coordinate with student clubs, organizations, and events to promote The Movement

 

4. Brand Awareness

a. Attend community events

b. Network with local business professionals

c. Other Initiatives as deemed appropriate

 

5. Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

 

Tools used:

1. Personal Cell Phone

2. Personal Laptop or Tablet

3. Tabling & Event Supplies (Consistent with event or meeting needs)

 

Qualifications or Job Knowledge Skills Required:

• No experience necessary as on-the-job training will be provided

• Reliable transportation is required

 

Qualifications or Job Knowledge Skills Preferred:

• Sales & Marketing experience is preferred

 

Compensation:

• You are paid 25% of revenue generated through the businesses and revenue generated through users that join the platform. Your income grows as more users and businesses join the Movement. There is a great potential for residual income.

• Revenue is generated primarily through advertising and e-commerce tools.

• You are not paid for recruiting new representatives or new users as this is not multi-level marketing. The benefit of increasing the number of users is having more customers for the businesses you help to sign up.
