Marketing and Web Data Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Marketing and Web Data Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving data-informed decision-making across our marketing and revenue functions. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, with a passion for uncovering actionable insights that drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing and revenue campaigns, channels, and initiatives.
    • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests to address specific business questions or challenges.
    • Build and maintain advanced reporting dashboards using Power BI and similar tools to provide clear and actionable insights to the marketing and leadership teams.
    • Utilize Google Analytics to track website traffic, user journey and behavior, UX/UI efficiency, and conversion rates.
    • Advanced proficiency in SQL to extract, clean, and transform revenue and customer data for analysis.

 

  • Customer Segmentation and Analysis:
    • Develop customer segmentation models to identify distinct customer groups and their preferences.
    • Develop predictive models to forecast future trends in customer behavior, sales, and market conditions.
    • Conduct cluster analysis to uncover hidden patterns, customer behaviors, and their migration from less to more engaged (or vice versa).
    • Analyze customer data to understand customer lifecycle and the key driving factors of lifetime value, purchase behavior, retention, and churn rates.

 

  • Insight Generation and Communication:
    • Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for the marketing, ecommerce, sales, and operations teams.
    • Develop and deliver compelling presentations to communicate findings to cross-functional leadership teams.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize campaign performance based on data-driven insights from A/B/Multivariate tests and test/ control incrementality measurement.

 

  • Dashboard Creation and Maintenance:
    • Design and build interactive dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and trends.
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates within dashboards.

 

  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, reporting, and processes across marketing, eCommerce, sales, and operations.
    • Recommend and implement data-driven process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of revenue and customer actions.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a data analysis or marketing analytics role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, Power BI, SQL, and statistical tools/ packages.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, pivot tables, pivot charts, and data modeling.
  • Experience in customer segmentation, cluster analysis, and statistical modeling.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
