Mechanical Engineering Intern
The Mechanical Engineering Intern will assist the Dexter Team with engineering project identification, project support, and project leadership by partnering and collaborating with the Engineering Team and Site Team. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will assist with engineering support for all aspects of associated with the design, manufacturing, assembly, and validation to ensure functionality, quality, cost, and timing.
Potential locations for this internship include Northern Indiana (Elkhart, Albion, Freemont) as well as Oklahoma and Texas.
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will be working on robust, hands-on projects. Potential projects may include:
• Production Support
• Project Management
• Mechanical Design
• Process Development
• Continuous Improvement
• Project definition, scoping, and documented project plan
• Capital projects
• Safety improvements
• Automation
• Troubleshooting equipment and processes
• Project estimation

In addition, you must be actively enrolled an accredited university working towards a bachelors or masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree.
