Data Collection - Passenger Sampling - Fall Semester

Transportation Services is looking for a field technician to collect passenger count data on the Bobcat Shuttle. The data is reported to the NTD and the FTA for federal reporting purposes.

This position is temporary, although there may be opportunities for continued employment.

Requirements:

• Self-motivated and dependable
• Ability to read and interpret maps and schedules
• Punctuality
• Basic Math
• Comfortable riding the bus for long periods of time.
• Flexible schedule/open availability preferred; evening, night, and weekend hours available.
• Ability to interpret and follow simple instructions without supervision.

Offers 5 - 10 hours per week.

Direct Supervisor: Coordinator, Marketing and Promotions, Transportation Services
Employee Evaluation Process: Student employees are evaluated by their supervisor at the end of each long semester.
Payrate Determination: The payrate is static.
