2025 Macquarie Capital Summer Internship Program
Our Macquarie Capital team provides advisory and capital raising services to corporate and government clients involved in public mergers and acquisitions, private treaty acquisitions and divestments, debt and equity fund raising and corporate restructuring. It also undertakes principal investing activities globally in support of its client activities.

What role will you play?
As an intern with Macquarie Capital, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients and partners make opportunity reality through the innovative advice and flexible capital solutions we provide.
You’ll learn from industry experts as you are placed in one of our Macquarie Capital teams based on your skills, experience and interests matched with our business need.
These teams could include industry coverage groups such as aerospace, defense & government services, consumer gaming & leisure, financial institutions, healthcare, industrials, infrastructure, software & services as well as product groups such as debt capital markets. Teams can also include infrastructure advisory, energy principal and infrastructure investment and development.
Typical tasks include building and running financial models, draft pitch presentations for clients, helping to run key transaction work streams on live deals and actively tracking share price movements, while monitoring industry news, trends and transaction updates.
Estimated salary amount is the equivalent of $70,000 - $110,000 annually, prorated for the length of time of the internship. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

- Take part in an orientation where you’ll learn about Macquarie’s business groups with your fellow Macquarie interns and receive technical training.
- Receive support and guidance from your manager and aligned mentor.
- Participate in philanthropic and social events to connect you to our inclusive culture.
- Present a project you worked on during the program to senior management.

- You have a strong attention to detail with experience and comfort in Excel.
