Sesi Technologies is empowering smallholder grain farmers in Africa with essential technology solutions to help them reduce losses, increase productivity and and maximize income. We provide a suite of mechanized post-harvest services that eliminate drudgery farmers face from having to undertake post-harvest operations manually. We also provide a digital  marketplace, that connects smallholder farmers with food establishments to enable them sell their produce at fair prices.

 

Project Description

Sesi Technologies aims to develop AgroMarket, an application that will enable working professionals to order groceries online and have it delivered to them. Students on this project team will work with React, Django, and Postgres to develop. AgroMarket. The project will focus on converting UI designs into a fully functional progressive web application optimized for mobile. The application will include the ability to browse through products, add them to cart, pay for them manage orders among other functionality.

Project deliverables include

  • A fully functional and mobile-optimized PWA that users can install on their devices for a native app-like experience.
  • Integration of offline capabilities and push notifications to keep users engaged and informed.
