Math Teacher Middle School (PEL REQUIRED)

Position Overview:

St. Andrews Lutheran School is seeking a Math and Science Middle School teacher who will be pivotal in shaping students’ educational journeys during their critical developmental years. The ideal candidate will have a strong math background and share the love of Jesus with our students. You will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive learning environment, and support middle school students’ academic and socio-emotional growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Valid teaching license
Commitment to Lutheran beliefs and values, and the ability to integrate faith into teaching.
Proven experience teaching middle school students
Strong knowledge of subject matter content and pedagogy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity in instructional approaches
Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Passion for education and dedication to student success

● 10 Month Contract Paid over 12 Months
