Software Developer 

We are currently seeking a talented Software Developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software development. The initial programming language is Perl, as this is what our current front and back-end systems are written in. Our current tech stack uses AWS Compute. This position is based in Wadsworth, Ohio, and offers an exciting opportunity to work on custom coding applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong rapport with end users/customers. Preferably the candidate will have some familiarity with Adobe Commerce and/or Oracle NetSuite platforms as this is the tech stack we are migrating to over the next several years. Additionally, familiarity with AWS message queue is nice to have, and knowledge of the C# language is preferable. Experience in the fast-paced world of ecommerce is a strong benefit.

Job Requirements

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using Perl programming language
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
  • Interact closely with end users/customers to gather and understand requirements and provide technical support
  • Assist in the integration and migration efforts towards Adobe Commerce and Oracle NetSuite platforms
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with team members on code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with proficiency in Perl programming
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices
  • Experience in custom coding applications and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with end users/customers
  • Preferred experience with Adobe Commerce and/or Oracle NetSuite platform
  • AWS Compute familiarity is required
  • Knowledge of the C# language and AWS message queue is a plus
